You can take it with you

The Good Doctor came into marriage with a few unique items, as I'm sure every newleywed does.  Before getting into the sundry selection following me from singlehood to marriage, let me shed some light on the Good Doctor's collection.

Several black suits all befitting the funeral director's son, at-the-ready to park cars or hold doors for anyone looking like they're here for a funeral.

A very large black umbrella in case it happens to be raining when you need to park cars or hold doors for anyone looking like they're here for a funeral.

A scissors.  We still have it.  Whenever my supply of scissors goes missing I can always count on this one being the sole survivor of the house's burglary spree.  For some reason no one ever wants to use this baby.
