Starving children

You may remember this post about my aversion to most foods while I was growing up.  On the other hand, it was from 2010 so if you needed a refresher, I understand.

Yeah, it was bad.  I wish I had known then that our little habit of leaving a pile was actually culturally acceptable in some other countries.  I could have used that in arguments with my parents.
