Christmas #1

When you have a large family, you get more than one Christmas. So, Christmas #1 started Christmas Eve Eve with the annual movie night. This year we enjoyed Finding Neverland (Ana cried dramatically) and Cool Runnings (HopeAnne laughed hysterically). Sarah gave permission for the latter under one condition: There was only one person in the room allowed to speak with a Jamaican accent - her. If anyone else tried, they would be duly corrected and then sent from the room.

We complied.

Christmas Eve was church, then brunch (with the obligatory cinnamon rolls), and Christmas with our immediate family. This is followed by games (we especially enjoyed Victor's Hot Potato game), then church (again), and the drive to MomMom and PopPop's house.

Appropriate...from Ana

Appropriate...from Andrew

Jesse had Andrew's name, and wrapped his handmade gift in princess paper...

Andrew had Ana's name

HopeAnne had Victor's name. She crocheted him a pillow.
The yellow blocks spell his name in Braille.

The infamous Swarovsky crystals headband Mom inadvertently bought for Hope.
Thankfully it was on the 70% off table.
