Welcome to the KingZoo and Funny Farm, where we learn to live, laugh, and love together. Here you'll find snippets of life in our zoo, parenting tips we've learned along the way, reflections on shining God's light in this world, passions in the realm of orphan care, and our journey as parents of a visually impaired child with sensory processing disorder. Rehearsal

Rehearsal day began with swearing in. These days, you just roll out of bed, answer your phone, raise your right hand and voila, you are emailed a marriage license.

We have our own built-in stylist.

When Mr. Victor was asked to be in the wedding, he responded with the request to show up as Darth Vader. We compromised: You can be Darth Vader at the rehearsal. And despite our repeated reminders that it was going to be awfully hot to wear your winter PJs to the rehearsal, he was not deterred. Until the end of the rehearsing when he said he wanted to change because, guess what, he was hot.

But the gift of a Star Wars shirt and a Darth Vader mask made it all worthwhile.

And now, to sleep before the busy day of decorating ahead of us.
