A wedding and a birthday

"She's a persistent little bugger."

That's how someone in the school district described her to me. She's right. Life isn't always easy but she is certainly persistent.

She's also known for her smile, her speed, her fashion sense, and her grace.

Most of all, she's known for her grace. I often tell her that her name is not just for her; it's to spread hope to those around her.

Her day is overshadowed by a wedding today so we crashed the rehearsal with a bit of birthday celebration.  What does it mean if the wind blew out all of the candles and left the birthday girl only one?

We love you, HopeAnne. Have a great day!
