This is how we roll

Three times, since 2009, the Bauman family has walked aboard a Disney cruise ship. Each trip full of its own memories and good times and our most recent trip was no exception. New members are added each trip, and this time included spouses of grandchildren, including one couple who used this trip as an extension to their honeymoon. And, a first for us, an engagement on board.

One just never knows what lies ahead once we cross that threshold.

And really, with our crew, getting there is just as much a part of the journey.

We felt a little like a youth group with our size. All that was missing was the matching T-shirts.

Victor surprised us all by handling TSA, the airport, and his first flight with flying colors. A shout-out to every TSA agent we met who, despite my experiences and stereotypes, was full of grace and compassion as we tried to get him through the rules and regulations with the least amount of meltdowns as possible.

Moving sidewalks are good for at least thirty minutes of entertainment.

He even used his cane properly - some of the time.

He has a knack for fooling everyone he meets, and instantly making friends.

Headphones, like moving sidewalks, were a God-send on this trip.

Just a little more waiting and we'll be there!

The ship has been spotted!

The suspense is killing some of us (and the reasons are more than just a cruise!)

Here we go, just through that door and down the hallway...

Victor caught on to the myriad of accents within the first minutes onboard.
"Who are you and where are you from?" were his constant questions.

It didn't take him long to find his favorite interior decorating item -
lights!

For some of us, there was another excitement consuming our minds, something we referred to as Operation Tinkerbell, and it was just around the corner...
