Christmas Eve

For those who were available, the festivities started the night before on what we like to call Christmas Eve Eve.  We always watch an 80s-ish movie or two. This year the selections were Short Circuit and Good Morning, Vietnam.

Christmas Eve morning, one of the best days of the year for the Kings.

Brunch with cinnamon buns...

Reading the stocking letters...

This year I Brailled all of Victor's letters.
Well, the ones which were given to me on time.

Poppers...

Gifts for kids...

gifts from Secret Santas... First everyone, one-by-one, said they had Shoun's name. He received a LOT of earrings. He was a good sport.

Eden had Jake's name. He had hinted that he wanted her
to make him a mug. She took it a step further and made
a mug with a picture of Jake and Mariana from the cruise

and gifts from the kids.

This was a wonderful gift from all of the kids.
Since Mary left home and has chosen not to participate in family activities,
we don't have any recent photos with all of us.
The kids commissioned this piece, drawn from a photo from the cruise this past summer,
and then added Mary to it. I love it!

And then a photo booth. Hopefully a new tradition.

Sign says: Not a King

WE'RE EXPECTING
to have a good Christmas
