An all-around nice guy

This mama's heart just loves special moments when siblings'  lives intersect.

Several of the Kings have taken advantage of the high school internship program. It's been a great way to learn about their chosen field, while keeping senioritis at bay (and avoiding stupid filler classes to while away the time til graduation).

Isaac is serving as student intern with the middle school orchestra teacher this year. And since his little sisters are both at the middle school this year and in their respective orchestras, they get to see a lot of each other.

Isaac helps out the viola section during rehearsals (and concerts) and conducted one of the pieces for the 7th and 8th grade orchestra which performed last evening, fittingly entitled A Caravan of Kings. It was suggested that he should have taken time to shake Eden's hand since she sits first chair, but they weren't that formal.

Mrs. Willits so kindly introduced Isaac as "a phenomenal musician" and "an all-around nice guy".

I happen to agree and forced HopeAnne to loudly clap with me. I also tried to get her to sign "I love you" in tandem with me, to Isaac and Eden, but she pulled my arm down. Quickly. I don't know why. Their father is allowed to embarrass them in that way.
